Program Goals
Goals of Cool Monadnock
1. To achieve a 10% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) in one selected region of New Hampshire within three years through an assertive community engagement approach.
2. To achieve personal commitment and actions from a significant number of residents and businesses to reduce GHG emissions.
3. To stimulate 300 communities throughout New Hampshire and New England in implementing significant community engagement approaches to reducing GHG.
4. To create a model of regional collaboration that can be implemented in other regions in the northeast.
